About brain tumours

10 children and teenagers are diagnosed with a brain tumour every week in the UK. That's more than one a day.

Brain tumours are quite complex. At present, over 130 different types of 'high grade' (cancerous) or 'low grade' (non-cancerous) brain tumours are known.

Although they're relatively rare, brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and teenagers and the biggest cause of potentially treatable blindness in children.

Early diagnosis of brain tumours can save lives - know the signs and symptoms.
